Art Resource Center, ARC-B41 CFA

The ARC was designed to provide a staffed nexus to check out Departmental AV Equipment, studio equipment, and purchase specialty items for course work, which are not readily available at local vendors.

ARC POLICIES
Equipment is loaned to registered art students faculty & staff only. Clients must show a valid UB ID CARD & drivers license to be logged in manually or on the computer. A current email address, phone number, and person number are required.

Durations for loans are same day, one day, & three day only. If a Longer durations must be approved by the ARC supervisor. Some equipment is reserved for instruction and assigned class work by students & has limited access. Only instructors may check out presentation, slide, & TV-VCR AV carts.

Reserve equipment in advance by Email at vsarc@buffalo.edu or calling 645-6878 x1469. Reservations are logged into iCal daily on a first come first serve basis. Download the Equipment Loan List PDF

Overdue equipment will be assessed $5.00 loss of use fee per day to the individual or their student account for each day it is late after email notification. Lost or Damaged Equipment is the responsibility of user and will be billed to their student account unless other arrangements are made.

Presentation carts may be picked up after 8:45 AM. They must returned at the end of their scheduled use so they are secure and available for other faculty.

Equipment or materials reserved for Foundations or Sr. Thesis must be scheduled by instructors with the the ARC staff. Provide the ARC with a class list and schedule of when and what items are reserved students.

Supply Purchases
The ARC only carries art materials not readily available at local vendors on & off campus. Items for sale may be purchased with Campus Cash only.
Campus Cash is a declining balance account on your UB ID CARD - funds do not expire. A card may be activated & funds added in person or billed to tuition before your last bill of the semester at 101 The Commons (north campus). Start up is $50 & transfers are in $25 increments.
At MYUBCARD you can manage your account and add funds with a credit card. Funds are availabe in 24 hrs or same day w/credit card transfer if your card has been activated.
