Uniting Art and Art History, the new Department of Visual Studies is dedicated to the practice and scholarship surrounding the history, critical study and making of art. Visual Studies continues existing Art and Art History programs while adding Visual Studies courses, faculty and degree programs on the graduate level. Current Art or Art History majors may continue in their studies with no changes or effect on their programs.
