AHI 580 - Museum Studies

Taught by the Director of the Castellani Art Museum. The purpose of this course is to gain an understanding of the purpose, function and organization of art museums and to introduce managerial and curatorial skills and techniques essential to museum work. Writing assignments are intended to have students carefully examine works of art, compile information about works of art, describe works of art and express opinions and ideas about works of art.
